Safari 4x4 Comps – Website Terms & Conditions
1. About Us
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Safari 4x4 Comps website and participation in any prize competitions promoted by Safari 4x4 Comps.
By using this website, purchasing entries, or entering any competition, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
Entrants must be aged 18 years or over, be residents of the United Kingdom unless otherwise stated, provide accurate personal information, and not be employees, immediate family members, or agents of Safari 4x4 Comps.
3. Competition Entry
Entries may be purchased through the website. A free postal entry route will always be available where required by law — postal entries should be sent to Safari 4x4 Comps, Hatch Mill, Buckland Monachorum, Yelverton, Devon, PL20 7NT, United Kingdom. Entry fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Winner Selection
Winners will be selected using an independently verifiable random draw process. Draws may be conducted live via social media. The promoter's decision is final.
5. Prize Description
All prizes are described as accurately as possible. Vehicles may be new, used, restored or modified. Photographs are for illustration purposes only.
6. Vehicle Prizes
Where a vehicle is offered as a prize, it will be supplied with a valid MOT where legally required. Any service history, receipts or documentation available to Safari 4x4 Comps will be provided to the winner. The winner is responsible for insurance, tax and ongoing maintenance after collection or delivery. Unless expressly stated, prizes are supplied without warranty.
UK delivery within a 100-mile radius of the prize location is included. For delivery beyond 100 miles, the winner may arrange third-party transport at their own cost, or collection may be arranged by the winner.
7. Prize Acceptance
The winner must respond within 14 days of being notified. Proof of identity and age may be required before a prize is released.
8. Cash Alternatives
Where a cash alternative is offered, the amount will be clearly stated on the competition page and payment will normally be made within 14 days.
9. Competition Cancellation or Extension
Safari 4x4 Comps reserves the right to extend, amend or cancel a competition. Where a competition is cancelled, entrants may receive a refund, entry into an alternative competition, or reimbursement equivalent to the entry fee paid.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Safari 4x4 Comps shall not be liable for technical failures, website interruptions, lost or delayed entries, indirect or consequential losses, or costs incurred by winners after receiving a prize.
11. Vehicle Condition Disclaimer
The winner accepts the vehicle in its current condition at the time of handover. Safari 4x4 Comps makes no representation that a vehicle will remain fault-free after delivery. Mechanical failures arising after handover are the responsibility of the winner unless caused by deliberate misrepresentation. This clause does not affect statutory rights under UK law.
12. Prize Competition Status
Safari 4x4 Comps is a prize competition promoter and not a motor dealer. Vehicle prizes are awarded as competition prizes and not sold to entrants. Entry fees relate solely to participation in the competition and do not constitute payment for the vehicle itself.
13. Intellectual Property
All website content, logos, photographs, videos and branding remain the property of Safari 4x4 Comps.
14. Privacy
Personal information will be processed in accordance with the company Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
15. Publicity
Winners agree that Safari 4x4 Comps may use their first name, general location, photographs and prize handover media for promotional purposes unless prohibited by law.
16. Fraudulent Activity
Safari 4x4 Comps reserves the right to refuse entries, disqualify entrants and cancel accounts where fraud, abuse or manipulation is suspected.
17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
